BIO
A journey beginning at the earliest stages of development Grant’s mind has been focused on creation. Learning how to see the world in a way that would lead to discovery he began to compile the skills necessary to bring his visions to reality.
Growing up in New Jersey just outside NYC he was introduced early to the world of concerts and theater. Once learning what a leko was in high school there was no other direction for him. College was at SUNY Purchase, a conservatory program for theater design technology where he specialized in lighting design.
Post college was a blur of being an assistant and associate in NYC theater, from off-off broadway to the Great White Way. After gaining experience working for other designers he began to branch out on his own to design downtown theater shows and regional productions around the country.
Since veering off the course of his own design work he has been programming television studios, concerts, events and fashion shows.
Grant has been living in Astoria, NYC for the past 17 years.
